The Full Emmy Nomination 2024: Here are the nominees
September 15 is the scheduled date of the star-studded ceremony.
The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were revealed on Wednesday, and “Shōgun,” “The Bear,” “Hacks,” “Only Murders in the Building,” and “Baby Reindeer” were all among the shows that received many big nominations. With 23 nominations, the full Emmy Nomination also captures “The Bear,” which took home nearly every major comedy prize at the most recent Emmy ceremony, broke the record for the most nominations for a comedy series in a single year. The previous record-holder, “30 Rock,” received 22 nominations in 2009.
With a total of 25 nominations, “Shōgun” received the most nominations of any drama program this season. “True Detective: Night Country” received 19 nominations, “Only Murders in the Building” received 21, and “The Crown” received 18 nominations for its last season. With 107 nominations this year, Netflix maintained its lead among networks, followed by FX with 93 and HBO with 91.
With a total of seven nominations for supporting acting in the drama series categories, “The Morning Show” garnered half of the honors: Nicole Beharie, Greta Lee, Karen Pittman, Holland Taylor, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, and Jon Hamm, who was also nominated for lead acting for his performance in “Fargo.”
Actor Tony Hale, who has won two Emmys for “Veep,” and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, who has won an Emmy for “Abbott Elementary” and is nominated again this year for her supporting role in that program, made the announcement of the nominations on Wednesday.
